Galahs are popular pets, relatively quiet with engaging sprightly personalities,
they can be taught to mimic, and they can perform appealling, clown-like antics
They can live for 40 years.
The original painting of the galah was one of the pages in the Aussies Down Under Series of Childrens books Gilly’s Far Away Flight by Pat Adams.

The book was published in 2008 with the art work remaining with the artist,

Lynne worked with Atelier acrylic paint on 300gms stretched water colour paper.
Pat and Lynne took approximately 3 months to complete Pat’s 5th book.
